MaGO Taxi — Rules & Guidelines

Rules & Guidelines

All drivers and customers using MaGO Taxi must follow these rules. Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

Important: By applying as a driver or booking a ride, you agree to abide by all rules below. The MaGO team has the final authority on all disputes.

Driver Conduct & Responsibilities

Complete accepted rides Once you accept a ride, you are expected to complete it. Abandoning a ride without cause is a violation. Multiple violations will result in suspension.
Charge the stated fare only You must charge exactly the fare shown in the app. Overcharging above the calculated fare is a reportable offense and will result in immediate suspension pending review.
Mark ride status accurately Mark "On Ride" only when you have actually picked up the passenger. Mark "Completed" only after the ride has ended and the fare has been paid.
Use only your registered vehicle You may only accept rides in the vehicle submitted on your application. Using a different vehicle is not permitted without updating your registration.
Treat customers respectfully Abusive, discriminatory, or threatening behaviour toward customers is grounds for permanent removal from the platform.
Accept one ride at a time While on a ride, you will not receive new requests until the current ride is completed. Do not attempt to coordinate multiple rides outside the app.
Do not share your account Driver accounts are non-transferable. Allowing another person to drive under your account is an immediate ban.

Passenger Conduct & Responsibilities

Pay the agreed fare The fare is shown before you confirm the ride. You are obligated to pay the full fare stated in the app. Underpaying or refusing to pay is a reportable offense.
Be ready at your pickup location Be at your selected pickup point when the driver arrives. Excessive wait time caused by the customer is a valid reason for report.
Treat drivers with respect Any form of abuse, harassment, or threatening behaviour toward drivers is grounds for account suspension.
Do not cancel excessively While you may cancel a ride request before a driver is matched, repeated cancellations after a driver has accepted may result in restrictions on your account.
No false bookings Submitting ride requests with no intent to ride, or providing false locations, is a ban-worthy offense.

Reports & Disputes

Overcharging If a driver charges more than the app-calculated fare, customers can report it from their ride history. The driver's access will be suspended during review.
Underpaying If a customer refuses to pay the correct fare, drivers can report it from their completed ride. The customer account will be reviewed.
Behavioral issues Both drivers and customers can report misconduct. Reviews and reports are kept private — only the relevant party and the MaGO team can see them.
Final decisions All reports are reviewed by the MaGO admin team. Decisions made by the team are final. Accounts may be suspended pending review or permanently removed following violations.

Rating & Review Policy

After each completed ride Both the driver and customer are invited to leave a rating and review. Reviews are optional but encouraged.
Who can see customer reviews Only taxi drivers and developers can see a customer's review and rating. A driver only sees a customer's rating when deciding to accept that customer's ride request.
Who can see driver reviews Customers can only see a driver's rating if that driver has accepted their ride request. General driver ratings are not publicly listed.
